It's been disappointing not having a game this season and I know dave has tried his hardest but we were let down by someone else,dave has saved the season through his effort's and after we play Bowdon a week sunday were pretty much booked up with dave still working to fill the gap's in the calender.
After bowdon another week off then Altringham,Macc's and Manchester all at home in succession,I'll tell you how good we are or not after that.one thing I will say is that no club in west cheshire,wirral,chester,caldy or anselmn's would relish the task we have ahead and yet that is the level we aspire to.
Talking of West cheshire we have five lad's going for trial's on sunday,WILL TITHERINGTON captain and mother's favourite,ALEX OWEN,underated by the school coach who doesn't appreciate Alex's ability to give the game width and fearlessness in the tackle,JAMES DUKE,his pass is improving but his attitude and tenacity mark him out,BAMBI,anyone else would stick him in the second row but bearing in mind he's the fastest in the team it would be a waste of talent.DARRAGH WARD,honest and dependable,hard as nail's.Add to that LOUIE PARR,nominated by anselmn's before he came home, a cross between lewis moody and justin bieber ,then we have six good lad's in the mix.
There were other's who came close and hopefully they'll push on and figure next season,to have a small squad with such a high standard of player's is outstanding,were proud of the spirit in the group and when people leave we understand they cant maintain our level but welcome the like's of louie,george and adam who feel it's something worth being a part of, worth the effort to attain.
